If you are about to travel internationally with a child, and one or two of the child's parents will not be traveling, it will be required by the airline that you get written permission from the parent or parents who are not traveling for the child to travel either alone or with another adult.  This permission can be either a letter that is written by the parents themselves, or you can use a pre-designed form, many of which are available on the internet.   The non-traveling parent's signature must be notarized by a Notary Public and presented to the airline when you check in to travel.  If you do not have this done before you get to the airport, they will not allow you to check in, and you will not be able to travel on that flight unless you can quickly find a Notary Public to come to the airport and rescue you in time.

Please note that the law requires that EVERY non-traveling parent for an international flight must sign a permission letter or form (granting permission for the child to travel),  and have it notarized. For parents who have legal sole custody of their children, or if the other spouse is deceased, then you may have to write a statement explaining this, and have it notarized.

- Name of child
- Passport number of child
- Birth certificate number of child (if too young for passport)
- Name of adult traveling with child (parent or non-parent)
- Whether child is traveling alone

We charge only $95 for the first California Apostille in your order, and $75 for each additional California Apostille in your order.  Documents can be dropped off with us in-person at our office, and they may be picked up from our office by appointment when they are ready (usually same-day if received before 3pm).  Any documents that may need to be notarized by a California Notary Public can have that service done in our office for $10 per notarized signature.   Processed documents are ready for pick up at our office from 9AM to 11PM by appointment (for clients who elect to pick up their documents instead of having them shipped).  Our office is located at 4025 W. We can pick up documents from your home or office location for an additional $50.00- please call for an appointment.   If you have any documents that need to be notarized at that time, we will notarize them when when pick up your document, at no additional charge.  All documents that are ready (and already notarized if needed) by 3PM will be processed on the same day.

Documents may be shipped back to you locally via Fed Ex Ground (for $20) or via Fed Ex Express (for $30).  We can also accept your pre-printed Fed Ex label for shipping back documents, at no additional charge.  We can ship worldwide using Fed Ex or DHL.

Apostille Agent Service for California Secretary of State - Call Hollywood Notary Dot Net

If you need assistance with getting a California Apostille for your important personal document, such as a notarized Power of Attorney, Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate or any other personal document, Hollywood Notary Dot Net offers one-day processing of Apostilles or Authentications for your document.  We process your document in 1 day at the California Secretary of State's office.  You have the option of picking up your document when it is ready at our office, or we can ship it to you via Fed Ex Ground (included in our fee) or by Fed Ex Express for an extra $20.

We charge $125.00 for the first personal document in your order, and $75 for each additional document.  Fed Ex Express or Fed Ex Ground shipping is available for an extra charge.

Documents sent to us for Apostille must be either notarized properly by a current California Notary whose commission is active, or bear the signature of a County Clerk/County Recorder of one of the counties of California, or by the State Registrar of Vital Records (in Sacramento).
