With Los Angeles County  demanding that everyone take serious precautions to shelter themselves indoors and for social distancing due to the coronavirus, there is still a demand for essential services, which are permitted, which include visits to grocery stores, gas stations, and other vital places.  Notary Services are a vital service!    Given all the circumstances, Hollywood Notary Dot Net is still serving customers, although with restrictions:

1.  For Office Visits at our location at 4025 W. Adams Blvd, we are seeing people in front of the building, but not inside our unit.  We are providing hand sanitizer, and as always, we use wipes for the thumb prints, which are 64 percent alcohol and kill over 99 percent of viruses and bacteria.

2.  Persons signing must not be coughing, sneezing, have fever  or otherwise exhibiting symptoms of coronavirus.   Please do not bring more than one person to the signing, unless we agree beforehand.   Keeping a distance of 6 feet between all persons will be strictly adhered to.

3.  We accept  cash, credit and debit cards, Pay Pal and Venmo.


We are also providing Mobile Notary Services, with strict adherence to cleanliness and social distancing, to prevent the spread of the virus.   For all Mobile Notary jobs, all signers must agree to sign outdoors.  We will not be doing Mobile Notary jobs to hospitals at this time.

3 Location (and Pricing) Options for Notary Services in Los Angeles- Hollywood Notary Dot Net

Many of my clients have told me that when they are trying to find a Notary Public online, that the notaries or notary companies that they call only offer Mobile Notary Services.  They are often relieved when they find my company, for I have always accepted clients at my office (which is my at my apartment).     People who visit my home location pay only $15 per notarized signature, and no travel fee.  An overwhelming majority of people who visit my office location find it to be stylish, comfortable and pleasant.    This office is located at 4025 W. Adams Blvd. #8, Los Angeles, CA 90018.  We see people by appointment only, but our phone line is open 24 hours a day.

Some clients need Mobile Notary Services- there is no way to avoid it.  Some clients are at work and cannot get away, so either myself or one of my affiliate notaries will visit the clients at their office.  Other clients want the notaries to visit them at home.  Still others need service at a hospital.  Sometimes we are asked to visit a doctor's office, or a dentist's office.  Sometimes we get requests to go to the airport.    Generally, at our company, we charge a $50 travel fee,  for a distance of up to 15 miles.   We also charge the per-signature fee of $15 per notarized signature.  Our travel fee increases depending on the distance, and time of day (a call at 11AM will be the normal fare; a job at 5PM on a weekday, where the request is for the notary to come immediately and drive 45 minutes,  will certainly cost more than a $50 travel fee, since the notary will have to drive through rush hour traffic. Late-night requests are also slightly more.

For people who like the convenience of Mobile Notary Service but also like to save a little cash, David Ransom invented our Starbucks Special.  With the Starbucks Special,  we travel to any Starbucks location within 15 miles of our office location on West Adams.   For this service, we charge only a $20 travel fee, plus $15 per notarized signature.  Using the Starbucks Special,  you may substitute a Starbucks location for a Peet's Coffee, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, or any café within 15 miles of our home location.   What's great about the Starbucks Special is that if you need more than one person to get signatures notarized, it's a great informal meeting place: it has music, it's got coffee or tea (or snacks), and it usually has a restroom.    What's cool about the Starbucks Special is that you get to get out of the office, or out of the house, and not have to worry about anything except getting your paperwork handles by a professional Notary Public, at a great price.

Get an Invitation Letter Typed and Notarized with Us- Hollywood Notary Dot Net

If you are inviting a friend or relative from a foreign country to come and visit you in the United States, and you are required to send an invitation letter to the American Embassy or American Consulate in the foreign country, Hollywood Notary Dot Net in Los Angeles can prepare the letter for you, and notarize it!

Simply make an appointment to visit our office.  Please provide your name, the name and complete address of the person or persons, and a few other details, and we will prepare the document.  You can look over the document to ensure its accuracy, and then we will notarize your signature on the letter.

We charge $20 to prepare the letter, and $15 for notarizing the signature on the letter. Preparing and notarizing the letter should only take 30 minutes at most. We prepare the letter while you wait, and you will approve the final letter.
